Restaurant. An eating place where meals are served; in everyday Kerala speech a small one is simply called a hotel.

- റെസ്റ്റോറന്റ് (restorantu) — Restaurant. An eating place where meals are served; in everyday Kerala speech a small one is simply called a hotel.
- വായ (vaaya) — Mouth, the opening in the face used for eating and speaking.
- സ്പൂൺ (spoon) — Spoon. The small eating or stirring spoon; a cooking ladle is thavi.
- ഭക്ഷണം (bhakshanam) — Food, eating food.
- സമയത്ത് (samayathu) — During, at the time of, in the course of (used after the noun, as in pareeksha samayathu); while, during the time that; Malayalam also uses the verb ending umpol, as in kazhikkumpol, while eating.
