Eaten in Malayalam
Have you eaten is probably the most asked question in Kerala, and the verb form inside it is കഴിച്ചു (kazhichu), the past of to eat. It serves for both ate and eaten, since Malayalam does not keep them apart here. That retroflex zh again needs the curled tongue.
Most common translation
Eaten, the past form of kazhikkuka, to eat; consumed as food.
ഞാൻ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചു.
njaan bhakshanam kazhichu.
I have eaten food.

How do you say eaten in Malayalam?
കഴിച്ചു (kazhichu).
Does kazhichu also mean ate?
Yes, one past form covers both, so കഴിച്ചു answers a question about a minute ago and about last week equally well.
